Exciting new development in Parkinson’s disease research! Scientists in Australia will be carrying out research on stem cell treatments for patients suffering with moderate to severe Parkinson’s disease.  The hope is that  scientists will hope to use the stem cells to grow new brain cells, replacing the ones lost to the disease process. The trial is set to last 12 months. MNC will be keeping up to date with any developments in this area of research.
