The Multiple Sclerosis Trust Awareness week will run from the 25th April to the 1st of May. In this week their goal is to develop ways of helping MS teams deliver a fairer future and ensure a more consistent specialist care for all those affected by MS.

It is widely known the difficulties faced accessing specialist care for long term conditions such as MS; and the MS Trust are wanting to highlight these challenges.

Here are four ways to help raise awareness:

  • Asking people to share their experience of MS care…complete the MS Care Survey to help build a detailed picture of the shape of MS care in the UK today.

  • Spread the word…do you have a life changing team that supports you living with MS, the MS Trust want to celebrate those teams and highlight the challenges they face.

  • Share your Story…whether it to share the experience your MS team have made to your life, your concerns about the future of MS care in the UK. The MS Trust are looking for volunteers for their media campaigns.

  • Be Bold in Blue…a fun and easy way to support the MS Trust during this week. We will be using Facebook and Twitter to show our support….why don’t you do the same using @manchesterneuro @MSTrust #BeBoldInBlue #MSAwarenessweek
