About Us
The Manchester Neurotherapy Centre was formed by Lynne Fletcher and Linzi Meadows and opened 1st April 2003.
The practice is staffed by highly qualified and experienced clinicians employed in the field of Neurological Rehabilitation.
We are specialists in neurological physiotherapy. This includes the treatment of:
- Stroke
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Head/Brain injury
- Incomplete spinal cord injury
- Parkinson's Disease
- Transverse Myelitis
- Ataxia
- Neuropathies including Guillain-Barré Syndrome
- Disability resulting from brain tumour
Throughout treatment we utilise The Bobath Concept, the most widely used method both in the UK and worldwide. Where other clinics are advertising a generic approach to neurotherapy that combines bobath amongst other "physiotherapy principles", MNC are completely convinced of the efficacy of the Bobath approach and use it exclusively. All staff are trained to advanced level and two of the therapists teach the Bobath Concept both nationally and internationally.
We also see a number of non-neurological patients with postural problems associated with pain and muscle weakness.
Opening times are flexible - usually 8am to 6pm. We can arrange evening appointments for special circumstances.
Our focus is on reaching and then maintaining every individuals maximum potential.
