Charlotte Winstone BSc(Hons) MCSP
Charlotte graduated from the University of Salford in 2000 with BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy.
She began working at Rochdale Hospital as a Junior Physiotherapist where she specialised in neurology in 2002. During her time at Rochdale Charlotte gained experience working with a wide variety of neurological conditions in different settings. These included the Floyd Unit for neurological rehabilitation, acute stroke unit and out-patients. She also worked closely with the neuro-rehabilitation consultant from the Floyd Unit in joint clinics on managing spasticity. Charlotte worked as a senior physiotherapist at Rochdale until November 2006. During this time she developed and lead a Work Based Learning programme for the Junior and Senior II Physiotherapists in neurology.
She also developed a special interest in Pilates and attended a course with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. This proved useful to help improve core stability in the neurological patients she treated.
Charlotte has attended a Basic and an Advanced Bobath course. Charlotte is enjoying becoming part of the team at the Manchester Neurotherapy Centre.
