Trish Leah (Office Manager)
Trish has worked as a PA, Secretary, Office Manager and Administrator for many years. She took some time out to do some teaching and has worked as a legal secretary and court clerk. She also worked for the Radio 1 Drug-line and spent 5 years working for the University of Manchester Drug Misuse Research Unit.
She has in the past had other part-time roles including working as a Childline counsellor and telephone support counsellor for other organisations. Trish is the Office Manager at Manchester Neurotherapy and also the Course Co-ordinator for the Neurological Teaching Centre.
Campbell MacKellar MSCP
Campbell began his professional career as a Remedial Gymnast, qualifying from University Hospital Of Wales in 1983, and then Leeds school of Physiotherapy in 1986. Broad experience in General Hospitals followed, with a short spell in Mental Health work, before working for the Leonard Cheshire Foundation in Swaziland. In 1990 he took up his first Senior post in Neurology, completing Basic and two Advanced Bobath courses in the following years.
Charlotte Winstone BSc(Hons) MCSP
Charlotte graduated from the University of Salford in 2000 with BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy.
Karen Saunders BSc(Hons) MCSP
Karen graduated from Salford University in 1998 with a BSc(Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. Initially she worked as a Junior at Manchester Royal Infirmary and started to train as a Bobath physiotherapist under the guidance of Linzi Meadows on the Neurological Outreach Team.
This inspired her to specialise in neurological physiotherapy and so in 2001, she moved to Hope Hospital, Salford to work as a Senior Neurotherapist.
Catherine O'Neill BSc(Hons) MCSP
Catherine qualified as a Chartered & State Registered Physiotherapist in 1994 at the University College of Salford obtaining a BSc (Honours) Degree in Physiotherapy.
Alison Edmonds-Nicholson MCSP
Alison qualified with a graduate diploma in physiotherapy from Manchester Royal Infirmary School of Physiotherapy in 1987. Her interest in neurology began in 1989 during junior rotational experience at The Floyd Unit for Neurological Rehabilitation. She took over as Senior Therapist there in 1990 and remained in that post until she left to work for herself in 1997.
Lynne Fletcher MCSP SRP and Advanced Bobath Tutor (IBITA)
Lynne trained as a Chartered Physiotherapist at Withington Hospital Manchester, qualifying in 1975. She began to specialise in the treatment of stroke patients very soon after qualification when working as a senior therapist at North Manchester General Hospital.
She attended her Bobath Course, taught by Mrs and Dr Bobath in 1978 and began training as a tutor in 1980.
She became Superintendent at Florence Nightingale Hospital, and was in charge of the specialised stroke unit.
Linzi Meadows MSc BSc(Hons) MCSP SRP and Advanced Bobath Tutor (IBITA)
Linzi trained as a Chartered Physiotherapist at Manchester Royal Infirmary, qualifying in 1982. She started to specialise in Neurology during 1985 when she became the senior therapist at a Manchester Stroke Unit.
She received a Bachelor of Honours degree in Health Care and welfare at Salford University in 1992.
In 1995 she was responsible for setting up one of the first Neurological Outreach Services in the UK, providing seamless multi-disciplinary care for neurological patients in Central Manchester.
