The Manchester Neurotherapy Centre was very pleased to welcome Hazel Blears MP and her assitant Charlotte. She met with some of our patients, one person who had had a stroke another with a head injury and another person with ataxia.

They emphasised the importance of having specialist neurological physiotherapy to help them reach their potential. Also the importance of treating each person as an individual and helping them achieve their goals in life.

Therapy for younger children

MNC is taking an increasing number of younger children for therapy and one of our staff, Catherine, is pursuing training in this field, including attendance on Bobath Paediatric course.

Goodbye to Valeska

We will be saying goodbye to Valeska at the end of October. Valeska is a Bobath Tutor trainee from Germany and has been working with us since June. She will be returning to the day job in November and would like to thank her for her help and wish her luck with the rest of her training.

Clinic spring clean

The clinic has been spruced up with a lick of paint and had its spring clean so is looking brighter ready to take us into the winter.
